General Manager

Turks & Caicos

This role is based on a luxury condo-hotel in Turks and Caicos, overseeing a unique property with individually owned accommodations. The General Manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations across Rooms, Housekeeping, Front Office, Maintenance, Landscaping, Security, Pool & Beach operations, and IT. You will build strong, professional relationships with the Homeowners Committee/Strata Board, ensuring owner expectations are met while maintaining the highest standards of guest service and operational excellence.

As General Manager, you will lead a diverse team with a hands-on approach, driving accountability, operational efficiency, and staff development. You will oversee property standards, manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L, and ensure all service and brand standards are consistently delivered. This role requires a confident, dynamic leader with proven experience managing Caribbean resorts and a strong ability to balance owner, guest, and team priorities with diplomacy and decisiveness.

The ideal candidate is highly organised, commercially astute, and experienced in condo-hotel operations. You will be visible across the property, conducting regular inspections, leading meetings with department heads, and ensuring that operational and maintenance standards meet both guest expectations and ownership requirements. The role combines strategic oversight with daily operational involvement, requiring a balance of leadership, people management, and financial acumen.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a General Manager in luxury Caribbean resorts, ideally with 100–150 rooms or condo-hotel/residences experience

  • Strong leadership, people management, and conflict-resolution skills, with a track record of staff development and retention

  • Proven financial and operational management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, CAPEX, P&L, and cost control

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, including experience with owners, boards, or committees
     

Salary $110k + bonus potential $24k (20%)
